Niños de Baja

Are you interested in becoming an intern at Niños de Baja? There are a limited number of internships offered, so read the following information to see if Niños de Baja is the place for you.

Volunteering in a Christian setting in a foreign culture can be a rich and rewarding experience—one that we think you’ll find can be life-changing.  Our ministry has an orphanage that houses up to 24 children up to age seven.  We also run a daycare service that is free to the families here in Porvenir in exchange for weekly community service hours.  Niños de Baja provides a number of community outreaches that benefit the schools, local library, community children and the needy families of the village.  As a result, our interns serve in a variety of ways. 

Depending on need and your interest/talent, you will be working either at the Daycare or at the Orphanage, Casa Hinton, assisting the child care workers there with whatever is needed.  During the summer months, we provide Evenings in the Park for the local youth.  Our interns lead short Bible stories/lessons, arts & crafts projects, games and sports with the help of the visiting Mission Teams that come each week from all over the U.S. to serve.
