Las Brisas del Pastor

The Las Brisas del Pastor Daycare center opened in March, 2005, and cares for up to 30 infants and toddlers, operating five days a week. We are blessed with a highly-qualified staff who understands their work is not just labor, but a Christian ministry to the children and their parents.

Our priority is to serve single mothers who must work to support their families. In Mexico there is no welfare system, so single mothers must work to feed and care for themselves and their children.

We call it our “Orphan Prevention” program. While parents are charged no fees, they must contribute through donations of goods or through service to the center or the community. Our goal is to serve the community while helping recipients maintain their dignity by giving back to others. Our prayer is that Christ’s love will be shared and children and families will be drawn to Him.

Special Notice to all Supporters

The NdB Board of Directors voted to pursue acquisition of property contiguous to the lot where the new Intern house is located. It is a double lot with a house that can be expanded in the future, and it is for sale at a very good price. We decided to use $15,000 for the down payment against the $40,000 asking price, and either raise funds and/or seek a no interest, short-term loan for the balance. Any help will be appreciated.
